Custom Error Pages in Cloud Hosting
If you purchase a Linux cloud hosting from our company, you'll be able to set personalized error pages for your Internet sites easily, since this feature is part of all of our solutions. As soon as you have created the files and uploaded them to your hosting account, you can go to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and click on the Edit button for the selected domain or subdomain. Inside the pop-up that will show up, you'll see drop-down menus for all four sorts of errors and for each of them you may choose an Apache default page, a generic page from our system or a personalized page. Should you choose the third option, you should simply input the URL to the file that you have uploaded then save the change. One other way to set personalized error pages is to set up an .htaccess file in the domain or subdomain folder and to add several lines of code in it. In case you don't have prior experience or if you're simply uncertain how to do that, you may just copy/paste the code from our Knowledge Base article on that matter.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
All semi-dedicated packages which we offer support tailor-made error pages and it will not take more than several mouse clicks from your Hepsia hosting Control Panel to use this feature. The option is included in the Hosted Domains section of your CP in which you will have to enter the links to the custom-made files using basic drop-down menus and a user-friendly interface. Of course, you should upload them to your account before that. If you do not want to use this feature at some point, you can disable it just as fast and pick an Apache server page or a default page from our system to be viewable when your visitors encounter an error. If you'd prefer, you can also use an .htaccess file to permit the customized error pages. The file has to have a particular line of code plus a link for every single error type and you may find an example of the whole content for all four error types in our Help section.
